1st day, Saturday 18/7:

            Visit to the Acropolis, the New Acropolis Museum, the Ancient Agora.

Visit to the National Archeological Museum and the

Archaeological Site of Kerameiko

Walk in Ermou - Monastiraki which includes the sites of:
             A. Prison of Socrates
             B. Roman Agora
             C. Stoa of Attalos

Return at the hotel, lunch and rest.
             17.30-20.30 Modern Greek language lessons

2^nd day, Sunday 19/7:

Visit to the archaeological sites of Alimos.

12:00-14:00 Ancient Greek language lessons

Return at the hotel, lunch and rest.

17.30-20.30 Modern Greek language lessons

3^rd day, Monday 20/7:

Departure to the island of Aegina

Visit to the temple of Aphaia.

Visit to the Orthodox Monastery of St Nektarios

Archaeological Site of Column

Resting in the town of Methana

4^th day, Tuesday 21/7:

Arrival at the town Nafplio

Visit to the Archaeological Museum of Nafplio

and the castles of Palamidi and Bourtzi

5^th day, Wednesday 22/7:

Visit to the archaeological sites of Mycenae and Tiryns.

6^th day, Thursday 23/7:

Arrival in the town of Sparta. Visit to archaeological sites of the area.

7^th day, Friday 24/7:

Visit to Mystras.

12:00-14:00 Modern Greek language lessons

Departure for Athens

8^th day, Saturday 25/7:

09.30-12.30 Modern Greek language lessons
            12:30-14:30 Ancient Greek language lessons

17:30-21:00 Participation in an Information Day, hosted by the Municipality of Alimos, in which lectures will be given by professors of Greek and other Universities on the subject of Thucydides.

Certificate of attendance will be given to all the participants.

Participants of the Learning Greek in Alimos programme who wish to give a lecture are kindly requested to communicate the topic and the language in which it will be given to Mrs Maria Dafaranou, head of the programme.
